At any level, one can demonstrate leadership capabilities that contribute to success. Having a management position is not required to positively influence others and make a difference in your workplace and community.

What is LEAD?

The LEAD program is an initiative that enables learning, fosters communication, and creates a community exemplifying GW's commitment to strengthening our staff leadership capability.

The objectives of the LEAD program are:

  • Create opportunities for people to network and learn from each other
  • Develop skill-building opportunities
  • Encourage leadership competency development
  • Offer resources to individuals interested in professional development
  • Provide resources to all LEAD community members
